Fresh peach season is almost upon us, so I thought I would provide 57 Ways to Use Fresh Peaches — everything from breakfast ideas, to desserts, to delicious side dishes and salads. We have 6 peach trees on the back section of our property. One produces white peach flesh peaches, one produces the tear drop peaches, and the other four are cling (rather than freestone) peaches.
Every year once the first week of July rolls around it is time to begin harvesting peaches. We have been spraying this year with an organic, non-chemical pesticide to see if we can cut down on the worms this year. We are hoping to have a good crop, but due to the savage storms that cut through the Dallas metroplex non-stop from March through May (daily thunder showers!), our crop has certainly been thinned out over last year at the same time. Even still, 57 Ways to use Fresh peaches provides some great ways to use up fresh peaches whether you have your own peach trees or not!
If you’re looking for some fantastic ways to use fresh (and even canned or frozen) peaches this summer season, please give some of these recipes a try. 57 Ways to Use Fresh Peaches has some invaluable recipes for everything from cookies to blondies and bars, desserts like cobblers and crisps, pies and dumplings and even cheesecake! You will be blown away by how awesome they are. Plus, some of my best tossed salads use peaches! Everyone loves them, I’m sure you will too!
